KONDOR Sponsors Korea's Largest Amateur Golf Tournament,
‘Shambhala CC Challenge Championship,’ Successfully Concludes
Blockchain venture company KONDOR announced on the 12th that the first-ever ‘Shambhala CC Challenge Championship,’ Korea's largest amateur golf tournament, which KONDOR sponsored, concluded successfully on the 2nd with the final round.
The final round followed the "Shamble Rule," where both players in a team tee off, and then the team selects the most advantageous ball to play from, continuing the play individually from that spot. The finals saw 40 teams (two players per team, a total of 160 players) compete after passing a large-scale preliminary round that began in late May and lasted until the end of August, with over 600 participants.
KONDOR provided KONPAY Card, part of the company's multi-digital asset payment platform KONPAY, as the championship prize. KONPAY Card is a prepaid digital asset card that can be used at any Mastercard merchant worldwide through the Mastercard network, and also allows for ATM withdrawals.
Users can easily apply for and issue the card via the KONPAY app. The app offers a one-stop service for recharging, payments, and withdrawals while enabling users to onboard various digital assets for seamless use.
Chairman Cha Se Yung of KONDOR Group remarked, "The intense competition, with three lead changes during the final six holes, kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Congratulations to TEAM 7.8 on their victory, and we look forward to seeing KONPAY Card make its mark across even broader avenues, capturing the same spirit of challenge that golf embodies."
