KONDOR Launches Global Payment Service with 'VISA-KONPAY Prepaid Card'
KONPAY Corporation announced on September 27th that it will launch the 'VISA-KONPAY Prepaid Card' global payment service, following the release of the VISA Card based on KONPAY last July.
This prepaid card can be used at VISA merchants worldwide, and the first issuance will be in limited quantities.
The key feature of the KONPAY VISA prepaid card is its integration with the KONPAY app. Through this app, users can onboard various digital assets for use, and charging, payment, and withdrawal are provided as a one-stop service in the app.
It is provided in two forms - mobile and physical card. It enables payment at online and offline VISA merchants worldwide through QR codes or barcodes, and cash can be withdrawn at local ATMs.
Deposits are done by exchanging the cryptocurrency in the KONPAY app for US dollars, and ATM withdrawal amounts are subject to the withdrawal limits of each country.
Customer verification (KYC) process is required when applying for the card. After verification, the card can be used one business day later.
Three different grades of cards are provided, each offering various benefits and rewards. The card issuance fee varies depending on the grade, and the annual fee will be refunded if payments exceeding a certain amount.
