KONDOR and WKBK Attend Inauguration of Business Association of Vietnamese in Korea
KONDOR Inc. and WKBK were invited to and attended the inauguration ceremony of the Business Association of Vietnamese in Korea (BAVIK), held on May 30th at the Glad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul.
The event was graced by notable figures such as Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Vu Ho, President of the Vietnamese Business Association in Korea Dao Tuan Hung, and representatives from major domestic organizations including the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Korea Federation of SMEs, Federation of Korean Industries, Korea Employers Federation, Korea International Trade Association, Korea Association of Medium Enterprises, and KOTRA, along with over 200 participants.
Founded in October 2023, BAVIK is a non-profit organization officially approved by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. BAVIK aims to support the growth and development of Vietnamese businesses operating in Korea and to promote diplomatic and economic cooperation through investment and trade between the two countries.
The association includes 40 Vietnamese companies based in Korea.
Minister Bui Thanh Son stated in his congratulatory speech, "The relationship between Vietnam and Korea has reached its highest level of development. The Vietnamese Business Association in Korea will serve as a milestone to further enhance bilateral relations. We expect the association members, active in various industries, to play a leading and pivotal role in supporting the Vietnamese community in Korea."
Dao Tuan Hung, President of BAVIK, emphasized, "The Vietnamese Business Association in Korea was established to connect, support, and develop the Vietnamese business community in Korea. This initiative will not only provide a platform for mutual knowledge and experience sharing between the business sectors of both countries but also serve as a starting point for effective future cooperation."
Cha Se Young, Chairman of KONDOR, remarked, "This inauguration ceremony is a significant opportunity to strengthen the economic cooperation between Vietnam and Korea. KONDOR will continue to strive for sustainable development and cooperation between the two countries by providing cutting-edge solutions through technological innovation."
Lee Yoo Jin, Secretary General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in Korea and CEO of Korea-Vietnam Marketing Company WKBK, added, "The launch of this association is a crucial stepping stone for promoting tourism and business cooperation between Vietnam and Korea. The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Representative Office and WKBK will do our utmost to support companies wishing to enter the Vietnamese market, ensuring they can operate smoothly and grow together."
